Lumitierra is a small independent store. It is not a marketplace and not a chain. When you write to us, you are writing to the person who runs it.

Using this site

By browsing or ordering from this site you accept the terms on this page, together with our Shipping & Delivery and Returns & Refunds pages, which form part of them. We may update information on the site, including prices and product details, at any time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you place it.

Orders and prices

All prices are in U.S. dollars. The price at checkout is the full amount we charge you, and any sales tax that applies is shown there before you pay.

An order confirmation email means we have received your order, not that we have accepted it. If a piece turns out to be unavailable, or a price is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We email you first, and you are never charged more than the price you saw.

Product descriptions and photographs

We describe measurements, materials and light output as accurately as our suppliers document them, and we say so when something is not confirmed rather than filling the gap with a guess. Photographs are taken under studio or staged conditions; how warm a light looks on your own wall depends on your space. Small variations in finish are normal on hand-finished pieces.

Installation and safety

Install every fixture according to the instructions supplied with it, and respect its IP rating — a piece rated for indoor use must not be installed outdoors or anywhere exposed to water. Anything that has to be wired into your home's electrical system should be installed by a licensed electrician. We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by incorrect installation, or by use outside what a product is rated for.

Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, designs and logos on this site belong to Eric Hemmann or to third parties who have authorized their use, and are protected by intellectual property law.

Governing law

Lumitierra is operated from Spain and these terms are governed by Spanish law. This does not remove any consumer protection you are entitled to under the law of the U.S. state where you live.
